Participants will arrive in the town of Chemuyil via collectivo from either Tulum or Playa del Carmen. Once in Chemuyil, a group shuttle will meet everyone at 11:00 PM and transport the group together to Dora Jungle Resort. We recommend planning your travel to arrive a little early so the transition into the space con todo tranquilo.

This session is led by our rites of passage guide, Meta Rose, and begins by grounding into the deeper meaning of Saturn and the initiatory threshold it represents. Through teaching, storytelling, and guided reflection, Saturn Return is contextualized as a sacred life transition—one that invites maturity, integrity, and alignment. Together, we name what has been learned and orient toward the path ahead with clarity and intention.

This rite will include a traditional Mayan fire ceremony led by Mayan elder Avelino. In ceremony with the fire, we offer gratitude for all that has been forged, released, and clarified during this initiatory cycle. Through prayer and sacred offerings, the fire is honored as both witness and ally—receiving what is complete and illuminating the doorway into the next chapter. This ceremony opens the energetic threshold of transition with reverence, humility, and power.

This traditional Indigenous herbal cleansing, led by our Mayan sister Agustine Isabel Ake, supports deep energetic clearing and sealing. Guided by the wisdom of the plants, we gently wash away residual heaviness from the past cycle and strengthen the energetic field for what is to come. Rooted in ancestral practice, the baño grounds the ceremony into the body, leaving participants feeling refreshed, protected, and renewed.

We gather for a grounding communal lunch to nourish the body and settle the nervous system. This pause in the day allows space for digestion, reflection, and quiet integration. Sharing food together helps root the ceremonial work into embodied presence.

We celebrate the completion of the cycle through a ecstatic dance led by our brother John Tran, honoring the movement of the planets and the rhythm of becoming. This is an embodied celebration—joyful, cathartic, and liberating—allowing the body to integrate the initiation through movement, music, and collective energy.

The day closes with the offering of a ceremonial gift to mark the Saturn Return initiation. This token serves as a tangible reminder of the threshold crossed, the wisdom earned, and the commitment made to walk forward in greater alignment with one’s truth.

Shuttle transportation will be provided from Dora Jungle Resort to the Chemuyil colectivo stop. From there, participants may continue onward to Playa del Carmen or Tulum.
